It's the leading integrated cloud business software suite for enterprise resource planning. It helps you manage inventory, track financials, host e-commerce stores and maintain customer relationship management systems. NetSuite was acquired by Oracle in November 2016.

Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite, has led the company from small size to becoming a public company with almost $1 ... Chief Executive Officer, NetSuite Inc.

They started in 1998 and since then have grown to offer services to more than 40,000 companies and organizations in over 100 countries.

NetSuite Inc. is an American cloud computing company founded in 1998 with headquarters in Austin, Texas, that provides software and services to manage business finances, operations, and customer relations.

NetSuite has become the industry leader in cloud ERP because it can address the needs of businesses of all shapes and sizes. That includes early-stage startups up to household-name enterprises, products- and services-based organizations and companies that sell to other businesses, consumers or both.

The NetSuite database is what is called a relational database. You can read more about databases from Oracle here. In this fictitious example above, we have two “tables” in a Relational Database. The first one (an item record) lists some information relevant to the item.

In 1998, Evan Goldberg founded NetSuite with funding provided by Larry Ellison, Oracle Corporation's executive chairman. Then, the company was known as NetLedger and was the first company to offer web-hosted business applications to users. Many consider it to be the first cloud computing software company

NetSuite is used by over 40,000 customers around the world that vary in business practices from manufacturing, distribution, and retail to professional services, software development, and nonprofit organizations.

Oracle NetSuite can enable customers to grow with their business offering flexibility, scalability, and ease of use. NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) can deliver significant benefits with real time insights, streamlined processes, and a 360-degree view of performance across the business.

In the case of NetSuite, JavaScript is our server-side language of choice. While JavaScript has traditionally been a client-side language, NetSuite makes use of server-side JavaScript, allowing customers to write complex business logic that runs efficiently in the cloud without having to learn a new language.

NetSuite is unique in the market with its ability to work with small startups to large enterprises. Its ability to effectively compete in both of those segments of the market means that NetSuite had and will continue to have a tremendous growth opportunity.

NetSuite's cloud-based business management platform provides you with a range of applications to run your business entirely on a single platform.

NetSuite's model isn't the traditional Open Source model, but it fits with the structure of the business world today. As Cloud becomes more meaningful, we move away from Open Source and toward a model that allows for businesses to build computing capacities in a competitive fashion.

NetSuite is the leading provider of Cloud-based (Saas) software for accounting, inventory, CRM, professional services, and ecommerce. NetSuite, in addition to being Saas, it is also Platform as a Service (PaaS). This means it is build for the cloud and designed to interact well with other software systems.

Netsuite is a full ERP solution that provides excellent functionality to automate core financial processes so that corporations can function more seamlessly. It helps manage inventory and vendors within companies so that there are tight records that translates into the GL.

The NetSuite administrator is responsible for configuring and maintaining NetSuite for your business. A NetSuite administrator will collaborate with team members across all business functions and external development teams to perform customizations, resolve user issues as well as define processes within NetSuite.

While both systems can handle manufacturing and supply chain, NetSuite may be better suited to companies who do not need marketing or HR modules in the same system as their manufacturing data. On the other hand, SAP's professional services features suit those companies with deep human capital resources.

NetSuite workflows are a graphical tool that allows you to customize NetSuite to fit your business and industry, without knowing complex JavaScript or SuiteScript code. Workflows can apply to both standard and record types with multiple actions.

Flexible, scalable, with the simplicity of a cloud application. Our favourite thing about NetSuite is how it helps our customers to run better. Its unique, single database approach means that things flow through your business as they should, leaving you to focus on improving and growing your organisation.

Simply put a bundle is a grouping of code, records, and settings that allow you to extend the functionality of NetSuite. Bundles can include records, fields, files, scripts, script deployments, forms, configurations, and many other assets; but not all bundles contain all of these.

Oracle NetSuite currently operates geographically distinct data centers across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Each data center has a counterpart that provides data mirroring, disaster recovery and failover capabilities in its region in case any data center becomes non-operational.
