Pro-Tips On How To Keep your Foot Healthy

A common mistake that everyone does when it comes to taking care of their skin is, concentrating only on the facial skin and not caring about other regions like neck, elbow, knee and feet. Of them, feet are the highly neglected part by many. We cannot expect all places to be hygiene. So, in particular, if you are roaming more, then it is essential that you take intense care of your feet. A happy foot defines a neat and tidy leg.

People tend to rush to parlours, to take services like manicure/pedicure when parties are approaching or if they are about to get hitched, etc.

Let me give you a few tested tips that you can do it in your home for healthy feet.

 

Maintain a smooth feet

 

When you wish to wear a high heel or an open back shoe, you will not be able to wear it when you have rough feet. Due to dryness and lack of moistening, your skin on your feet will be cracked and will be surrounded by dead skin cells. For you, the foremost important thing to do is smoothening your feet.

 

For this, soak your feet in warm water for 10 – 15 minutes. This will smoothen your skin. After this use pumice stone to rub off the dead skin cells. Softening your toe skin is the first step you have to do when it comes to taking care of your toes.

 

Moistening 

 

If your toes are cracked, then it needs deep moistening. If they are highly cracked, then it is advised to visit a professional dermatologist. If it is in a stage of healing, then it needs to be moistened. Apply the moisturizer creams on your toe skin. Another best way to treat your cracked toes is the medicated heel pads that are available in the market.

 

Try out the creams that are rich in lactic acid for better results.

 

Fight the sweaty foot

 

If you are an athlete or someone active in any other outdoor sport, then you have to take care of your toes more intensely. Since you will have to fight the sun, chances are high, you neglect your sweaty feet. But this will result in the formation of fungus around the feet. So, you must use anti-fungal creams. Except for the anti-fungal lotion lookout for powder or creams that are rich in aluminium chloride.

 

Apply sunscreen every day

 

Above all, the essential process is applying sunscreen to your toes every day. The common mistake by people is giving importance only to the facial skin and using sunscreens over the face alone, leaving behind the toe region. This is wrong. You have to provide an equal concentration to your neck, elbow, leg and your toes too.
