Is Technology Boon or Curse:

I think it's the most debated topic in every Indian Family. Our parents keep highlighting the negatives of Technology while we try to convince them by putting the positives on the table.

Let me ask you a question:

According to you, Technology can solve all of our biggest social problems? or Technology creates problems?

Personally, I believe that we have the technology today to solve all of the world's biggest social problems but at the same time, these technologies are so powerful that I believe they could also greatly harm our society.

Let's see a few examples :

  1. Self-Driving Cars

Blessing: They will reduce traffic accidents, and they will allow elderly and disabled people to be mobile

Curse:     They are gonna cause possibly massive unemployment.

      2. Internet and Social media

Blessing: It has made it easy to raise our voices against evil

Curse:  The dark side is that if everyone has access to the internet, we now don't know which news is true or false.

      3. Drowns

Blessing: They are now being tested for delivering medicines and medical stuff.

Curse: They are also being used to kill people by transporting bombs or keeping an eye on others' territory.

If our new generation is getting too attached to technology that to even search the small answer, they are dependent on the internet, then it will decrease their passion for searching for new things. Kids are not utilizing it for useful purposes and using it for wasting time decreasing their creativity using so much on social media platforms.

If Technologies are making us Slaves and we are getting fully dependent on them then obviously it is cursed. But if it gives us that one extra edge to achieve in our career then it’s a boon.

So to conclude: like every coin has two sides, even technology has its own positives and negatives. The thing that really matters is the person using it. We have the choice of using this masterpiece for the betterment of this world or using it to bring hell to this planet.
