Power of words
Ever wondered why words are compared with arrows and daggers? Why it is said that the pen is mightier than the sword? I think it's because words have great power. When used right, it can win hearts, but when it is used in the wrong sense, it can hurt others.
This is the power of words.Any feeling-happiness, pain, anger, complaint, care, anything in the world, until they are transformed into words, they cannot be understood. Neither by the world, nor ourselves . Words are not thoughts, insead thoughts are made of words. Words provide clarity in thoughts, and thoughts provide clarity in action. Words are not only a method of communication, but also a thread which joins generations together .
The traditions, the cultures, the inheritances, all these go along with these words. Life lessons, knowledge, Education-everything is conveyed through these words. In this rat- race of life, speed has taken over every single aspect that contributes to the essence of life. This however, has bruised the meaningful existence of words. These words have now become short, lack depth and keep changing with time.
Today, the power possessed by these words have been taken for granted by people. They use them in whatever manner they see fit, without thinking about how it affects others.
Words lie within us, and are neither good ,nor bad. We need to start loving words and start understanding their power, because whatever happens in the world, is happening because words.what is difference between animals and humans? The difference being that we, as humans can put out emotions feelings, thoughts, experiences into words can pass it on to other generations. The knowledge of ages have travelled with us because of these words. Whatever we are today ,wherever we've reached, our developments and advancements-all these are because of words. If there wouldn't have been words, there wouldn't have been anything. So respect words, love words, be friends with words. Hear them carefully and convey them carefully because the only super power we humans have are "words "
