Top 5 Post-Wedding Skin Care Tips

 Weddings in India is not an easy task. Abide by a large number of different cultural practices, your skin will have to go through a lot of make-ups, trial creams, foundations and many more. So, post-wedding, it is important to give your skin the much-needed breathing space. Let’s see some of the skincare tips after your big day to get rid of allergic reactions, to detoxify your skin and other such issues.

 

Say no to make up

 

After your big day, though you have plans to attend other post-wedding functions, give some rest to your skin by avoiding make-up. Especially, avoid eye make-up. In case you apply base creams, make sure to remove them without fail before you go to sleep. At the unavoidable circumstances, apply some light creams. Also, make sure to use some exfoliators to relax your skin.

 

Stay hydrated

 

After giving too much concentration in wedding ceremonies, it is a common thing to lose track in your diet and water intake routine as well. However, post-wedding take on to the routine without fail. Especially, during the winter season, it is essential to stay hydrated to avoid dryness.  

 

Good sleep

 

Chances are high that you would not have slept properly prior to your wedding day. Moreover, to ease your mind from the wedding stress and other mental stress, good and long sleep is essential. At times, take power naps too. In fact, sleeping highly helps in relieving you from the marriage stress. Hence, it is always recommended to have a good sleep post marriage.

 

Work out

 

Work out is a very important post of your marriage. During any function, one cannot say no to food and one cannot find time to work out too. However, never forget to regularize your exercise sessions. This helps you stay toned and keeps you active.       

 

Homemade packs

 

Homemade packs are always a safer option to go with. Taking care of your skin is very important to post your wedding. One tends to take off their skin before the wedding to look great on their big day. But post-wedding many do not care for their skin. But this is the time to exfoliate your skin and keep them off make up. Applying nourishing homemade facial packs helps you detoxify your skin.
