The most significant boon is that is provides education, information and knowledge on any topic. Any distance is not so much due to social media. A person or a student can be anywhere in the world and can connect with anyone anywhere in the world through social media. One of the main aspect of social media is that it provides employment to young and old artists who wants to showcase their art in the world. Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter are the various social media platforms available to explore.
‘Don’t use social media to impress people, but use it to impact people’
As a coin has its two sides, every other thing on the earth has its two sides and boon and bane. Just like it, social media too, has its bane. It is said to be one of the harmful tool in the society if not been controlled and monitored on. It can cause a great consequences later. It can invade people’s privacy without letting people know. It helps hackers to hack any account easily which causes in the increase of cyber bullying which can have a great impact on people’s life. Social media addiction is quite a normal aspect in today’s youth and this can be a matter of concern to many adults. At the end, social media is just a tool which has its own advantages and disadvantages. It is upon the user to use it efficiently. Excess use of social media is harmful to anyone, but, a balance between academics, sports and social media is not harmful at all. So, we must have the right balance for everything in our life.
