1. L appears riding a bike

2. L's surname

3. Death Note

But when Light goes to pick up the Death Note, the front cover is facing upwards. Also a Death Note will never run out of pages.

4. L and Light total opposite of each other

5. Death Eraser

6. L was always sure that Light was Kira

Any time L gave a percentage value on the likelihood of a character being the suspect, he lied. L would always give small percentages to lie about what the odds are of him being Kira, but the truth is he would lie when giving these figures.Every time L gave a value, let's say 5% of Light being Kira, he actually meant that he had a 90% or above chance of being Kira. Put it blunt, L was almost certain Light was Kira the entire time.

7. The Unnamed Shinigami is maybe Light

Because of this, it is plausible that the Unnamed Shinigami is meant to be a reincarnation of Light. But still it is not yet confirmed as the plot changes most of the time.

8. Near killed Mikami with the Death Note

This theory has never been proven true or false. Touta Matsuda creates this theory, believing that Near used the Death Note in order to restrict Mikami's actions at the Yellowbox Warehouse, later causing Mikami to die in prison.

9. There’s a prequel novel about L
