Due to the pandemic everyone around the globe were quarantined. Which brought a sudden halt in our day-to-day lives. But as humans we always adapt to the situation. As we adapted, plenty of new trends began. Below I have mentioned a few trends that began during the pandemic.
Facemasks : Face masks have recently appeared at the forefront of fashion trends as a result of the pandemic. Not only as a fashion statement but also for protection against the Covid-19 virus.
Digital Classrooms : Due to the pandemic, schools, colleges and universities had to be shut down. As we couldn't attend class physically, we began attending chasrooms virtually with the help of applications such as google meet & 200m.
Movies being released on OTT platforms : As most public places were shut down. Therefore, going to movie theaters wasn't an option. But with a rise in OTT platforms in recent years were able to access movies that were directly released on them.
Time to learn new things Is self improvement : Many people used the pandemic to benefit themselves such as doing stuff they wanted to do for a long period but couldn't do due to certain reasons. Many also started working out at home.
Family time : As we were quarantined we got to spend quality time with our families which we wouldn't really get due to our busy lives.
Food trends: Many of us tried out new recipes in our kitchen, made new dishes and started spending more time in our kitchen than we usually would.
These are just a few trends mentioned that happened during the pandemic.
