Many of us now a days becoming an Information Technology Geeks and we know about the using mechanism of our system basically.

But We forget to know interestingly about HOW OUR SYSTEM WORKS? So, let's get started images (36).jpg
Our Computer System are divided into two parts Known as HARDWARE & SOFTWARE SYSTEM. We known something about the hardware and the most famous one is our harddrive commonly known as HDD. So we will learn and get into the some deeper concepts of our Hard drive.
Non Volatile Memory images (35).jpg
Non Volatile the word means the stability. Volatile means unstable or temporary. Volatile memory mainly consists of RAM ( Random Access Memory) and Cache memory. The data saved on the volatile memory is Temporarily saved and it is in the memory till the power supply is connected to the circuit.
Now we come to NON - VOLATILE MEMORY .
Non Volatile Memory used for storing the data and the data will not be lost even if the power supply gets disrupted. This is used for permanent data saving purpose only. Our Hard Drives are comes into the category of non volatile memory.
Non volatile memory are practically slower than the volatile memory and the research is being conducted for get rid of slower performance given by the non volatile memory. Non volatile memory are the Read Only Memory i.e. they are being used to store the data and Volatile memory used to run the program or open the data.
They are two types of Non Volatile Memory are there:- 1-- Electrically Addressed Memory 2-- Mechanically Addressed Memory unnamed (2).png
Electrically Addressed Memory is expensive compare to Mechanically Addressed Memory. Mechanically Addressed Memory is slower and the Electrically Addressed Memory is much faster in processing. The cost of Electrically Addressed Memory is decided by unit of bit. Per bit costs some amount of money.

Volatile Memory Explained.

images (41).jpg Hello Guys, Learn about volatile memory in this post. RAM Now, We will discuss about volatile memory. Electronic Memory The meaning of volatile is mainly unstable and in IT terms we can say that it is temporary. Memory means the component is used to store data i.e. different empty blocks or cells is present with unique cell addresses. This addresses are given so that we can find the data easily. Now coming back to our topic i.e. Volatile Memory Difference between ram and rom
Volatile memory is a type of memory which is used to open or run the program. This type of memory is very fast in performing operation. Comparitively faster than the Non Volatile memory.
This type of memory includes basically RAM (Random Access Memory) and the Cache Memory. Memory Taxonomy The data in the memory is present until the power cycle is on. When the power supply interrupts the data in the memory vanishes. This memory is very fast in data processing. The volatile memory works or plays a role of sub-concious mind of computer. Its fast and the Version of volatile memory is used are DDR1, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4, DDR5 every upper version is faster than the lower one. The latest and fastest volatioe memory are DDR4 &DDR5. DDR4 is used on large scale as compared to DDR5. Volatile memory are little cheaper and faster. This types of memory cannot be used for data storing.
